Whenever I read a court decision or receive other information suggesting that a police officer in New Jersey has engaged in misconduct, I typically file an Internal Affairs complaint. Since records of Internal Affairs cases are confidential and never disclosed to the public, I believe that posting the complaints and dispositions on this blog may help the public better understand how seriously various Internal Affairs units regard citizen complaints.
